Barbara A. Schulte, DNP, PMHNP-BC
(aka Dr. Barby, DNP,  Dr Schulte, DNP), is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing psychiatry since 2016. Doctorally prepared, Dr. Schulte brings over 15 years of experience in psychiatry and behavioral health. She earned her undergraduate degree from Grand Canyon University and completed her doctoral education at Arizona State University.
 

Throughout her career, Dr. Schulte has held diverse roles, including serving as a clinical coordinator for an outpatient psychiatric clinic, working in consult-liaison psychiatry, and treating children and adolescents in both inpatient and residential settings. As a proud Arizona native, she is bilingual in English and Spanish, which enables her to connect with a broader patient population.
 

Dr. Schulte is passionate about working with patients of all ages, from children to older adults. Her approach focuses on delivering patient-centered, integrated care, with a strong commitment to motivating both patients and their families toward continued, comprehensive treatment.
